Stamping Test of El Corazon Matte Effect- Neon Polish Collection

Last week I posted swatches of El Corazon neon matte polishes(see here). These polishes are very opaque so when I first applied them I thought to see if they stamp as well. I tried and they didn't disappoint me.

Hello, 

Today I have swatches of new El Corazon Matte Effect Polishes. If you dont know already, El corazon is a Russian cosmetic brand. They have great range of polish collection from pastel to neon to glitters to holographic. I have reviewed their polishes before. I like this brand for couple of reasons, they are affordable, their formula is also nice which is also big 5 free, some of them stamps very well too. 

El corazon released their matte collection back in 2012 with 15 different shades. In May 2014 they extended this collection with adding 2 regular shades plus 7 neon shades (you can see entire matte collection here).  

Today, I have 5 polishes out of 7(No 141 to No 147) neon matte shades. Lets have a look. Please click on "Read More" button for detailed swatches.

Grayscale Gradient

Hello, 

Other day when I was struggling to decide about what to do my for my black/white/grey challenge(see here), Dhara (from The Happi Therapy) suggested to do a gradient nail art. I did dry brush for that manicure because I never did one before and also I thought gradient would be pretty simple obvious nailart. But Dhara said doing black to white gradient isnt that easy as I think so we both decided to do a grayscale gradient manicure next week.  

So, this is basically the story behind this manicure and I agree that doing it wasnt that easy and it didnt come out as I thought it will be.

Textured Watermelon Nail Art

Some of the nail art themes are evergreen themes like dots, leopard print, and fruit nail arts. Today, I am sharing  a nail art which i never attempted  before, Watermelon Nail Art. There are lots of beautiful watermelon manicures in the community and it was little challenging to come with a little different idea. So, here are my textured watermelon nails. I choose to draw a vertical cross section image of watermelon.

Today I am sharing a nail art which I did for a challenge. The theme is "Stamping over a Grey, White and Black Base". Well that's quite challenging because first finding a stamping polish which stamps well on all three of them in a task and secondly what base should I create as gradient and saran wrap are very obvious choice and I wanted to try a new technique.

Shimmer Alice

Hello, 

In my last post shared swatches of five Shimmer polishes, today I have another gorgeous and blingy Shimmer Polish to share. 

Alice is a bomb of mixed sized silver holographic glitters suspended in a clear base. This can be easily layers over any kinda base or you can wear it on its own. I dont have any other polish like this in my stash so I am so happy to have it.

Opi Sheer Tint - Don't Violet Me Down Gradient Nail Art

Like most of us, I like OPI sheer tint polishes too. I couldn't get a chance to play with them until now. This manicure I created last week and absolutely loved it.
