Glitter Tint Flowers

Hello, 

I am writing here after a long time. I posted my Christmas manis on Instagram but couldnt do a blogposts for them. You can check them all on my instagram account. 

Today's nail art featuring a glittery tinted flowers. I saw this technique to apply sheer polishes on a glitter base creates like a glitter jelly effect and i loved the idea, so decided to give it a try. Here is my manicure:

Today I have swatches of a gorgeous nail polish from I Love Nail Polish(ilnp). ILNP recently released a collection of ultra chrome flakie polishes. This collection has thirteen polishes in total. I got a chance to grab two of them. Today I have Electric Carnival to share here.

El Corazon Matte n Shine 161 + Pueen 79

Hi, 

Today's post showing another El-Corazon beauty with an image stamped from new Pueen buffet(leisure) stamping plate. 

El Corazon matte n shine collection has fourteen shimmer-y polishes that dries matte. I have got couple of them and you will see me using them in my upcoming nail arts(see no. 162 here).  formula of this collection is great. Requires just a single medum coat or two thin coats to cover nail. I have a feeling that these will work as stamping polish too considering how opaque they are. I used two thin coats for the pictures and no top coat.

Sheer Lace with Leopard Accent Nail Art

Hello, 

I am very much loving leopard prints and sheer lace patterns these days and that's what inspired this nail art. I wear this manicure whole weekend. We went to watch Jaws at open air cinema by St. kilda beach. I never been to any open air cinema before so it was very exciting first experience with unlimited ben&jerry's :) 

Anyway here is my manicure.

Today I have a nail art to share which i did using two of new addition in my collection. El Corazon Aquarelle Tints and Messy Mansion Leadlight Lacquer stamping plate 01. 

El Corazon released 12 polishes in new aquarelle tints collection*. These polishes are basically sheer tinted polishes like opi sheer tints, only these come wide range of colors than opi and also has better formula. These doesnt get gloppy as opi sheer tints, that means you need not to work in hurry. These can build color on nails with four to five coats.

Picture Polish Lollipop

ILNP Mutagen(H) + Moyou Kaleidoscope 04 Stamping Plate

Hello, 

Today, I have another I Love Nailpolish(ILNP) beauty, Mutagen(H). Mutagen(H) is holographic version of ILNP Mutagen which is a part of ultra chromes collection. 

Mutagen(H) is a green metallic linear holographic, multi chrome polish which shifts from  green, to dark green. golden brown to blue to even purple in some angles.  I apllied two coats of the polish on its own and top coat. It is little streaky but top coat evens out most of it. Dries fast and sparkle up under sun or direct light.

I love Barry M Gelly collection, these polishes are super opaque, very shiny and many of them stamps very well. I bought a lots of them when i was in UK. Every season they add new shades to the collection and continuing it, they released fall gelly polishes. I am lucky to got these beauties(see Instagram) as they are tough to get here in Australia(wish they start shipping here). Today, I  am sharing a nail art I did with barry m Chai.

Wildlife Nail Art

This is certainly a shopping season for nail community. Every week something new releasing and last two week been very harsh on my bank account. I placed several orders and they started coming last friday. Keep in touch on my Instagram account to see my haul pics. So, the whole point of the rant is that bundle monster also released CYO 2014(create your own) stamping plate set few days back and I received it within six days. This is my first manicure with it. 

I am not regular in doing 52 Weeks Pick n Mix challenge but the good thing about this challenge is that, its not compulsory to do all the themes. This week's theme is "Animals-Wild or Yellow". In an other facebook group the challenge theme is wildlife, so I decided to do a wildlife manicure for both the challenge and here it is:

Gothic Nail Art

Hi, 

Finally the day is here,Halloween that too on friday, spooky right. This is my last manicure for halloween this year. I havn't done anything crazy halloween-y stuff nails this year, but i opted for subtle halloween looks and continuing it, I am sharing a gothic nail art which i will be wearing tonight. 

I used purple and black combination for my gothic mani. Though the polish looking more blue-ish  but if you have china glaze creative fatasy, then you know its more of grape purple.

Halloween Series: Gothic Damask Pattern Nail Art!!

Hello, 

Buying new polishes is the most exciting thing to do for nail polish addicts. We sleep late in night, waiting for new restocks, wait for mailman like crazy and nothing in the world gives us as much happiness as getting a nail mail. We buy and buy and sometime when we casually go through nail storage, we find hidden untried polish gems.  Well, that is what happened with me yesterday. I was looking for my clean up brush and i went through my a-england polishes row to see if the brush fall down there somehow. I couldnt find thr brush there but A-England Jane Eyre caught my eye and i remembered that i loved this polish and was so excited to get it but never tried it.  So, that's how i chose the base for today's manicure.

Halloween Series- Mummies and Candy Corn Inspired Dry Marble!!!

Today, I have two Halloween designs to share. I did mummies with googly eyes using black and white water marble design last week. I wanted to do it last year but the googly eyes delivered after halloween so couldnt do it on time. I also shared a quick video tutorial on instagram(check here).

Happy Diwali !!!

Hello, 

Today is Diwali, a very auspicious and most celebrated Indian festival. Diwali is also called "festival of lights" and is celebrated for victory of light over darkness, good over evil.  We also worship goddess lakshmi on this day and light up oil lamps to welcome goddess. Fireworks are also important part of the Diwali.  I remember the whole neighborhood gather outside their houses and burst firecrackers for hours. It was so much fun, this was the second best part which i use to love as kid, best part was getting gifts. Anyway, what i want to say is that, I love Diwali and miss celebrating it with family in India.

Halloween is just around the corner, and  social media is full of spooky Halloween manicures.  Though I dont celebrate halloween(i didn't even know about it till the age of fifteen, we don't celebrate it in our region) but i really like it, specially dressing up, i wish i could also go for trick n treating when I was a kid :D :D. I love to see halloween manis and creating them too. So, today I am sharing my first halloween manicure of this year.

1960's Inspired Nail Art

Hello, 

Today's manicure is 1960's inspired nail art which is my challenge nail art for this week's pick n mix challenge. Two prompts for this week are 60's inspired and matte/texture. I have moyou back to 60's 01 stamping plate, so i decided to attempt that prompt.

 It took me a while to figure out exactly what i want to do on my nails even though I had a stamping plate for it. I knew about "flower power" because i did a manicure for this laqst year(check here) but i wanted to include few more 60's elements to this mani. 

Cirque Kontiki Collection "Dear Dahlia" Review + Breast Cancer Awareness Nail Art

As I mentioned earlier, I am doing pink manicures on all Fridays this month and also(check my first mani here), this week's second prompt for pick n mix challenge is Pink. Today, I have Dear Dahlia from Cirque Kontiki Collection. 

Dear Dahlia is hot pink jelly with green shimmer. At certain angle it also reflect hints of purple violet shade. Formula is very nice and even. It requires two to three coats depending upon how opaque you want it. It dries semi-matte so definitely need a top coat. I applied 3 coats of the polish and top coat for following pictures.

52 Week Pick n Mix Challenge - 2 Colour Gradient and Teal

Hello, 

So, yes as name suggests, I am participating in this new challenge organized by a facebook group, I am part of. In 52 week pick n mix challenge, there will be two challenge prompts(one technique and other color) for each week. one can either do two different manis for each of them or can combine both and do a single mani. Another rule is to try oldies or untried polishes to create manis, which i really like as i have lots of untried polishes. 

This week's prompts are "2 color gradient" and color "teal". I decided to combine them and do a single mani. Here's my manicure. 

Celebrating India's MARS Orbiter Mission "Mangalyaan"

I mentioned in my previous post about India's Mars Orbiter Mission "Mangalyaan". The spacecraft(called Mangalyaan) successfully inserted into MARS orbit on 24th September 2014. 

ISRO(India Space Research Organization) is fourth space agency in the world to do so. Also, India is first nation in the world to achieve this in first attempt and first Asian nation to do this. Not only that, It is the cheapest MARS orbiter programme till now and costed less than movie Gravity, incredible right. I did a nail art to celebrate this achievement of ISRO. Inspiration for this nail art is an image i found on internet.

Sheer Base and Lace

Hello, 

India is famous for lots of things and one of them is our year-round festive celebrations. This particular time of the year brings most exciting and celebrated festivals in the whole country. We are celebrating Navratri these days. It is nine day long festival where we worship goddess Durga and do fast for nine days(though, there are lots of food we cook specially for fast, and it is very yummy).   

Another thing to celebrate is ISRO's(Indian Space Research Organiztion) huge success with Mangalyaan entering into Mars orbit. Not only India is first Asian country to do so but we are first country in the world to get success in first attempt. So proud of our scientists. 

Coming to today's manicure, I saw some beautiful sheer base manicures on instagram and wanted to try it myself. So here is my sheer base lace nail art.

El Corazon "Jelly Neon" Polishes as Sheer Tints

Hello, 

How was the weekend? Spring is started here in Australia and now we see sun more often. I am so loving it because it has been really long (ten months long)winters for me as I was in UK till april and moved to Australia in May which is kinda start of winters here. Anyway, I am happy that finally i can get rid of coats and jackets.  

Enough of rant, today I am sharing few nail arts which I did using El Corazon "jelly neon" collection(swatched here). When i reviewed those polishes, I said that these will work great as sheer tint polishes. I tried them and they didnt disappoint me.

Today I have something so chick and girl-y to share with you all. Sizzle is another Picture Polish collaboration shade with Lisa from Cosmetic Sanctuary. It released with another collaboration shades few days earlier. When I saw it on picture polish's facebook page, I knew I have to have it. El Corazon Active Bio-gel "Jelly Neon" Collection Swatches

Hi,

Today I have another El Corazon collection to share. Jelly Neon collection released this year may or june .  Collection has seven polishes and as name suggests they are jelly finish neon polishes. 

These polishes are a better version of opi sheer tints in sense that these are not as sheer as them yet perfect for layering over other colors as well as can be wear on their own without any base colour. Formula of these polishes is very nice, not gloppy unlike sheer tints and smooth.

I was suppose to post this nail art yesterday but anyway. This manicure is inspired from a nail art I saw on instagram which i find out is from a fellow aussie blogger Theresa aka It's all about the polish. I just loved that mani and the color combination inspired me to do one myself. I got a packet of chevron tip guides from Born Pretty Store. So I decided to do a chevron design with same color scheme.

I joined Simples challenge to brush up my skills. You can check the details here. This is week 9 for the challenge and the theme is "Splodging". I recently bought Emily de Molly plates and I am just fascinated with EDM 04 plate.It has peacock and peacock feather images. 

So, I decided to do a splodging base with peacock colors i.e. purple, blue, green, golden. Here is my final manicure.

Water-marble Manicure for Friendship Day

I hope you all had a great weekend. This weekend was special because we celebrated International Nail Art Day on 2nd August and Friendship Day on 3rd August. I did manicures for both of the days. Today I am sharing my friendship day manicure, I will share my INAD manicure in another post. 

Few days back, in a FB group I gave a challenge to Diana to do a  "stamping nail art over a base of  watermarble of three colors" and she did a fabulous job(you an check that here). If you are a nail art enthusiast than you may know that doing a water marble isn't piece of cake and I felt little bad for giving a tough theme. So, I decided to do a water marble manicure too. Picture Polish Aurora

Hello, 

Today I have another pretty from Picture Polish. Aurora is a limited edition polish which launched back in march/april 2014. I was in UK that time as soon as it got available there I bought it. 

There is many swatches around for this polish but I cant stop myself from sharing my swatches as this polish is outstanding and believe me none of the swatch do justice, it is way more fabulous in person than swatches.

Stamping Test of El Corazon Matte Effect- Neon Polish Collection

Last week I posted swatches of El Corazon neon matte polishes(see here). These polishes are very opaque so when I first applied them I thought to see if they stamp as well. I tried and they didn't disappoint me.
