Roses n Chevrons

 Hello,

I am so happy to share today's manicure here. This is kinda nail art I like to do. For this nailart I first created a gradient base and then put some chevron vinyls and did another gradient on top of it. The final effect was so cool. Finally I stamped a rose image on it which was fun itself too because the actual image was too big for my nails so I used Moyra Supersizer XL stamper to shrink the image.

Stamped Chevrons !!!

Hello,

I love chevron manicures. They look very classic and chic. With invention of nail vinyls, it become very easy to do perfect chevron manicures. I havn't done one in a while because my chevron vinyls are packed. Luckily, there is a pretty chevron stamping image in Uberchic Beauty uc2-02 stamping plate so that inspired me to do chevron manicure. Here it is:

Dreamy Gradient and Chevrons

Hi,

Today's manicure i did for Nail That Technique Challenge theme "Advanced Gradient" but i couldnt post it on time. Advanced gradient is categorized as "not traditional gradient". In typical gradient nail arts,
the gradient is created from top to bottom or vice versa. Advanced gradient is where the gradient is created in some kinda shape.

For this manicure, i did an oval shape gradient and stamped the base, finally finished the manicure with balancing chevron accent. Here's my manicure:

Sheer Lace with Leopard Accent Nail Art

Hello,

I am very much loving leopard prints and sheer lace patterns these days and that's what inspired this nail art. I wear this manicure whole weekend. We went to watch Jaws at open air cinema by St. kilda beach. I never been to any open air cinema before so it was very exciting first experience with unlimited ben&jerry's :)

Anyway here is my manicure.

1960's Inspired Nail Art

Hello,

Today's manicure is 1960's inspired nail art which is my challenge nail art for this week's pick n mix challenge. Two prompts for this week are 60's inspired and matte/texture. I have moyou back to 60's 01 stamping plate, so i decided to attempt that prompt.

It took me a while to figure out exactly what i want to do on my nails even though I had a stamping plate for it. I knew about "flower power" because i did a manicure for this laqst year(check here) but i wanted to include few more 60's elements to this mani.

Chevron

Hi,

I was suppose to post this nail art yesterday but anyway. This manicure is inspired from a nail art I saw on instagram which i find out is from a fellow aussie blogger Theresa aka It's all about the polish. I just loved that mani and the color combination inspired me to do one myself. I got a packet of chevron tip guides from Born Pretty Store. So I decided to do a chevron design with same color scheme.
