El Corazon "Nail Party Active Bio-Gel" collection Swatches(Partial)

This post is also one of the long pending post. I have these swatches since march end but I couldn't post them due to move. El Corazon released Nail Party collection back in February 2015. This collection has ten shimmer shades. Today i have swatches of five of them to share here. Continue reading to know more. 

El Corazon Active Bio-gel "Jelly Neon" Collection Swatches

Hi,

Today I have another El Corazon collection to share. Jelly Neon collection released this year may or june .  Collection has seven polishes and as name suggests they are jelly finish neon polishes. 

These polishes are a better version of opi sheer tints in sense that these are not as sheer as them yet perfect for layering over other colors as well as can be wear on their own without any base colour. Formula of these polishes is very nice, not gloppy unlike sheer tints and smooth.

Challenge: Day 19- Galaxies

Hi,  

today's post is special as i tried a new mani. today's theme is galaxies.  I somehow alwayz  keep ignoring galaxy nails cause i thought i am not able to do  them beautifully..  i saw many pics of  galaxy nails are all over the internet in last few months but finally today is the d day. 

Here's my first attempt:

polishes used: colorama black, Faces white-o-white, Beauty UK blue shimmer n bon bon, Revlon midnight affair, Street Wear  rose pink, Gala of London N05, Nicole by opi Top  of my world.

 these nails keep reminded me of a book's  back cover with a matte galaxies print so i also applied Essie matte about you 

 so which one you prefer with or without matte coat ?? 

i hope its not that bad for first attempt .. what you say ??

 

please do comment what you feel about this mani... I am alwaz open for suggestion  :)

April-May Mega Haul

Hello Gals,
here I am with another haul..  i got Barry M NPs alongwith big image plates from amazon uk and sleek palettes and OB series image plates which i got from our dear Kejal..  I am so overwhelmed to see all my stuff together.. i ordered barry m, big size image plates and sleek palettes back in April from UK and 2 of my frnd were coming to India so thy got these with them... so so sweet of them :)..  enjoy the pics ..

NOTD n Swatch: Kleancolor Metallic Green

Hello beautiful gals,
here i am with another Kleancolor from latest haul... Metallic Green this time.. this looks like shimmery velvety carpet on my nails... see the awesomeness

its pretty opaque and needs only a single coat however i applied 2 coats for more intense color..

i stamped this with konad m63 using konad special polish in black

i hvnt used kleancolor metallics for stamping yet.. bt Kejal use to stamp with thm and the results are very good... hv u seen such awesome green ... plz share ..

NOTD: Nyx Flaky NP 37 Pink Avenue

hello everybody,
flaky polishes needs no introduction as they are already luv of everyone... bt again its very tough to find flakies in India.. thnx to NYX and Inglot for introducing us to flakies... i got this pretty NYX flaky few time back i guess for INR 350/- .. its called NP 37 Pink Avenue although i cldnt see any pink color in it .. its more orange to green to blue. enjoy  the pics:

okay i applied it to various base colors bt it looked best with a black base.

it looks very sheer on yellow base .. in the pics u cant even see the flakes..

the pics aren't justifying the flakes very well as it is more visible and vibrant in person.. i ll try to upload a gud pic of this..

do u also love flakies or have them in other brands.. plz share so that all of us can get some gr8 flakies available in India...

Essie's Matte About You matte finisher

Hello,
i am so excited while writing this post.. matte polishes are all over the web these dyaz.. and i really wanted to try some too so i started my search for matte colors and brands and i come across this fabulous matte finisher Matte About You by Essie. i took no time and ordered this one from 365gorgeous as it got such a nice reviews as compared to Orly's matte finisher. It costs me INR 546/-  but absolutely worth it. :) Here's the first look:

Application is very simple. Apply base coat thn 2 or 3 coats of desired polish finally apply matte about you in single thin coat. I first tried it with my creme based polishes:

(2 coats of each, and no top coat)

and after applying matte finisher, it looked like:

then wanted to try black, brown and grey also so

 (2 coats of each, no top coat)

i don't have a  cream grey so used this one 

after such fab results i went crazy :D :D and thought of trying some glitters also

(2 coats of polish, i coat of colored glitter polish, no top coat)

it dries very quickly.. i tried and tested this on my nails prior to this post to know chipping time and the life of matte effect. Typically it didnt chip for 4 days after that i took polish off with remover and at the beginning of third day the polish started look satin again( bt nt completely shiny ,a little shiny). for me I think that's ok because i generally lost interest in wht's-on-my-nail after a day itself. :D :D... and if the polish isn't getting chipped then u won't mind turning matte to satin.

It's a little pricey bt u won't mind if u cn get any matte color with this plus i really like wht it done to glitters.

hereby, I officially declare that i am in love with-->

3 Revlon polishes swatches and NOTD

Hello Gals,
as promised i am up with swatches and NOTD of  Revlon trio enamel from my latest haul. i really like this
combo pack and all the three colors are fabulous. so without going into much chatter , here are the swatches:

 Revlon Enamel 389 Lush Lime: its really shimmery polish and have very small glitter particles in it... hope u can see that. It's very sheer.. i have applied 3 coats of it.

 Revlon Enamel 428 Midnight Affair: my first reaction after applying it was OMG.. its really very gorgeous shade and have very very smooth finish.

 Revlon Enamel 420 Strawberry Electric: this is shimmery pink color..i am very bad in defying color.. so plz see the swatch

i liked all the three colors and specially midnight affairs, while lush lime is perfect for wedding parties strawberry electric can be wear at tea party or in a get together.
