NOTD: Fish Scale Manicure using Gals Princess Set

Hello,

How you all doing..  Howz you all keeping up with ur new year resolutions.. me actually forgot to make a resolution so i decided not to forget about resolution on next year :D

Today, I have another beautiful holo from Color Club. Halo-graphic is nice light pink toned holographic polish.
with flash... no sunlight these days :(

Here are another pics in natural indoor light:

Absolutely gorgeous .. isnt it.. i like this polish even in natural lights .. pretty pink shade of polish..
Color Club holos are very nice in application, 2 coats opaque without any bald patches :).. Holographic effect is very nice and staying power is none to complain about..

I got my gals princess and fairy set late december but cldnt get time to use them, so i decided to stamp my nails with fish scale design.
stamping plates: GA14 Gals princess set
stamping polish: moyou black
topped with a descent coat of seche

Gals plates as you may know are low cost plates from Cheeky's sister brand Gal Cosmetics.. I posted about these plates here.

Full nail image sizes on this set is smaller than cheeky's and may be an issue for really long nails but for me works just fine on this length. I would love if the sizes will little bigger.Stamping however is no problem .. image quality is as good as cheeky's.

I messed up on the base of my nails as the image size is smaller than what i am used to .. but will keep in mind in future..

I also got bundle monster's image plate organizer which is really cool.. i will post pic of  it on FB soon.

This is all i have to show you for today.

Hope you girls like it .. please do comment.. thnx :)

Swatch: Glitzology: Part 2- Steel City and Diet Cokehead

Hello Chics,
I showed you Glitzology's Skeleton Key and Island of Misfit Toys(you can check here) in my last post.
Today I am here with two more polishes from the newly born Indie brand, Steel City and Diet Cokehead.

So, first Steel City. I think of bumble bee whenever i look at this polish.

It has yellow, matte black and white hex, square glitters of different sizes alongwith black and white thin bar glitters suspended in clear base.

In above pics i used a single coat of Steel City over Models own grey with top coat.

2 coats over berry m spring green.

Next is Diet Cokehead. Stacy created this polish inspired by Diet Coke and i must say that its actually reminds me of tht.
This polish is very beautiful having a silver shimmer-y base with red hex, small black glitters, and medium black square and bars alongwith medium holo hex.

Apologies for the bad click but htis polish is really very beautiful and my favorite. I wore it without any base and its opaque in 2 coats.

Both of the polishes were easy to apply and as others loaded with glitters. One thing i like about all the four polishes i swatched till now is they all can be applied without any base color.

As i said , these polish are 3 free and costs $8.50.

She is currently offering a new 50% discount on all her polishes.

You can see the entire range on her Etsy Shop and can also contact her on her Facebook Page.

Happy New Year!!! Introducing Glitzology : Part 1 Skeleton Key and Island of Misfit Toys

Happy New Year my Lovelies!!!!!!

Hope all your wishes come true this year. I hope i am not  too late to wish you. Hope you enjoyed New Year's Eve a lot. Holiday season is over and I am back to regular posting now. I actually wanted to post this on 1st Jan but because of hangover some reasons i couldn't.

Glitzology is relatively new indie brand and has brilliant collection. Stacy, the owner and creator of these beautiful polishes launched Glitzology with really huge collection and i was amazed to see her glitter creations. She sent me 6 polishes to swatch.

As each polish she sent is mind blowing i decided to swatch them in parts. So, today i am showing u pretty girls Skeleton Key and Island of Misfit Toys.

First Skeleton Key. The polish as Stacy says "is inspired by one of my favorite movie characters, Lydia from Beetlejuice. As an angsty little goth girl in the 90's, I could totally relate to her! "

Its a clear base polish with lots of big and medium hex, square, shreds and bar glitters of purple, matte black and white.
2 coats of Skeleton Key over Models own Aciid with top coat.
I like the combination of purple with black. Polish can be wear on its own and the formula is ok. I guess dabbing would be nicer approach to wear this polish as its looking bumpy because of swiping.

Next is Island of Misfit Toys. This polish is part of Bad Santa Holiday Collection but still available on her store.

This polish has silver shimmery base with lots of bright hex and squares of blue, green, yellow and red in different sizes.

I layered 2 coats of Island of Misfit Toys over barry n bright pink topped with sally hansen insta dry anti chip top coat.

Formula is good and application is nice.

All the Glitzology polishes are 3 free and one thing i liked most about her polishes is, i got 6 polishes and each one of them have tons of glitters and not a single polish require fishing for glitters.

Her polishes costs $8.50 and international shipping is very reasonable, just $6.
Currently she is offering a discount of 40% on orders.

You can see the entire range on her Etsy Shop and can also contact her on her Facebook Page.

Please share which one you liked most.

Have a prosperous new year !!!

"Pumpkin Cocktail"- My First Franken Polish + Misfits On 8th Store Review

Hello Chics,

I have shown you many franken or indie polishes like Darling Diva Polish, F4 Polish, Feenix Polish and today i  am gonna show you a franken polish created by myself.

Franken polish as you may know is a polish created by youself either by mixing few polishes and glitters or starting from scrap and adding pigments to polish base. Sounds tough but believe me its as easy once you understand the ratio of ingredients.

Pumpkin Cocktail is the first polish i created  and I am very very happy with the results.First have a look:

I put 1, 2, 3 and 4 coats of polish from my pinky to index respectively.
Pumpkin Cocktail is a crelly base polish having black and aqua teal square glitters and very tiny azure hex glitters.

The hardest part was giving it a name and I am so blessed that some lovely fellow bloggers helped me to  name it.

I used suspension base to create this polish as it prevent glitters to sink and after 72 hours glitter are all floating in the polish and easy to use.. I am very proudly say that this polish is loaded with glitter and i didnt have to do fishing for them :)

Now the point is from where to get perfect polish supplies, glitter tht doesn't bleed and base which gave them a float.  Like India, its tough to get suspension base here in UK and many US supplier doesn't supply international.

It led me to do more n more googl-ing and then I come to know about an etsy shope Misfits On 8th who was selling suspension base in 15ml bottle. I talked to Natasha, owner of the shop and a sweetheart. She sent me a sample pack of the suspension base and few glitters.
The parcel arrived safely and well packed and i was surprised to see all those glitters. Suspension base has 2 steel balls in it.

The best thing is she ships international and thats all i wanted. I have already shown you nice quality of glitters and base. She even has starter kits for making your own polishes and options for 40z, 8oz, 16oz suspension base.

Currently she is running two offers. One is buy 2 get 1 free on 15ml suspension base bottle till 31st December and another is 15% discount till 1st January.

Checkout her Etsy Store HERE
You can also   contact her on her FB Fan Page

So, do you like my Pumpkin Cocktail.

Please do comment and share your views about it. I would love to hear what you say about my first effort.
